The best part? These awards are automatic, meaning you don't need to apply! If you qualify, you'll receive the award.
Algoma University Awards of Excellence
Awards of Excellence are based on your high school average or International Baccalaureate (IB) program diploma. If you maintain good grades while an Algoma student, you could continue receiving these awards into your second, third, and fourth years of study!
Your average grades | IB points | Award level | Scholarship funding |
95% or higher | 40 or higher | Platinum | $4,000 |
90% to 94.9% | 36 to 39 | Gold | $3,000 |
85% to 85.9% | 32 to 35 | Silver | $2,500 |
80% to 84.9% | 28 to 31 | Bronze | $1,500 |
There are plenty of other entrance scholarships available at Algoma, so don't worry if you don't have the grades for the Awards of Excellence.
