Though you've probably seen lots of headlines about COVID-19, the novel coronavirus, most study abroad programs continue apace. There are many reasons to want to travel, even in these uncertain times. Read on to learn about studying in England, France, and elsewhere, with Redeemer University.

Where in the world do you want to travel?

The experience of international travel, while earning your degree, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Not only are you travelling the world, but you're putting an international edge on your resumé, preparing you for careers that cross the globe. Are you hoping to gain a greater understanding of a different culture? Learn a new language? Experience learning outside of the typical classroom?

Redeemer allows you to study at universities and organizations worldwide, all while fulfilling your academic requirements. Check out some of our most popular programs:

Crandall-Oxford Programme

This program, where students live and study in England, provides credit towards a Redeemer degree while also giving students the opportunity to attend theatrical productions and visit museums and historical sites in England which provide an excellent context for material covered in classes. English, History and Theatre students will have the best overlap with their major/minor requirements, but the program is open to all students.

Redeemer in the South of France

As part of the French program, you can study a semester or two at the Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry in the South of France. Courses are available in subjects including French language, history, social and economic geography, philosophy and politics.

Au Sauble Institute of Environmental Studies

With programs in the Great Lakes Forest of northern Michigan, Pacific Rim, Costa Rica, East Africa and South India, you can earn university credits while learning about sustainable community-building and environmental education and restoration for school children and adults.

You can learn more about these programs, as well as our many other off-campus study opportunities across the world, by checking out our website: redeemer.ca. Bon Voyage!
