At UCalgary, your first week at our school is going to be unforgettable. Here's a taste of what you have to look forward to if you choose UCalgary.

Whether you're an undergraduate, international or Indigenous student, there's something for everyone during Fall Orientation.

Your week starts with getting to know your classmates and learning your faculty cheer before you head to Induction, a pep rally with the other first-years, followed by a barbecue. You'll also get to tour the campus, attend a carnival and enjoy a movie night. Orientation wraps up with Kickoff, the first football home game of the season. This year, your Dinos will be up against the University of Manitoba Bisons.

If you're new to Calgary, check out the Welcome Centre and speak to an advisor about how you can get settled both on campus and in the city. The Welcome Centre staff can connect you with resources on and off campus. They also have a new student checklist to help you make sure you're ready for your new life at UCalgary.

Next, you'll get to know some of the clubs on campus. Every semester, the Students' Union hosts Clubs Week so you can choose how you want to be involved in the campus community.

And you can't forget about food. UCalgary has a lot of food options — we've put together a handy list on where to eat for any occasion.
