Studying at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University’s Corner Brook campus, means you have options to study anywhere in the world through our Student Exchange Program.

If you’ve been infected with the travel bug, we might have the cure. Our Student Exchange Program provides you hundreds of options for partner universities allowing you to pay Grenfell’s low tuition, earning credits toward your degree, and having the opportunity of a lifetime.

Our campus in Harlow, England offers courses towards your Grenfell degree. While there, you can visit historic landmarks, enjoy world-class theatre and visit galleries and museums.

The Frecker program is the Memorial presence on St. Pierre et Miquelon, a French colony off the coast of Newfoundland. There you can immerse yourself in the language and culture of France.

Grenfell Campus is a member of the National Student Exchange Program, which gives you the opportunity to travel and study in a new location for one or two semesters. The choice of study location is up to you -with nearly 200 participating universities to choose from around the world.

Many of our students also choose to spend a semester in Belize, enjoying Caribbean culture and climate, in this exciting learning opportunity.

Our best spokespeople: our students that have participated in exchanges.

Elizabeth: Grenfell student who studied in Korea

"Being in a culture so drastically different from your own is an incredible learning experience. It's challenging in the best way and it forces you out of your comfort zone, and it's a hell of a lot of fun. The highlight: food! And meeting all of the other international students. I have friends all over the world now."

Inga Borisenoka: Grenfell student who spent a semester in the Netherlands.

"As part of my exchange, I went on an excursion to the Caribbean for the Sustainable Island Management minor I completed at Van Hall Larenstein. The Netherlands program was a great fit with my program here. I went on an excursion to the Caribbean for the Sustainable Island Management minor I completed. It allowed to see real world applications of what I studied first hand and to view the issues related to my studies from an international perspective."

Owen Bartlett: Grenfell student who spent two semesters in Alaska

"I immersed myself in the enormous expanses of wild space of Alaska. I couldn’t recommend anything more than an exchange. The people you can meet, the places you can see and the ways you can grow, are limitless. All you need is an open mind and a sense of adventure, and the whole world starts to look like one big opportunity."
