  • Lakehead University students and upcoming graduates have access to our On-Campus Career Fairs, where local, national and international employers visit campus to meet students and recruit new employees.
  • In preparation for one of our several on-campus career fairs and other opportunities, we offer students Career Advising & Job Preparation training —everything from resume workshops, interview preparation, online job bank, and advice on finding your future career.
  • Did you know that several of our programs offer students Co-operative Education opportunities? That’s right, Lakehead student can gain hands-on experience in the working world. With co-op work terms of 4 to 16 months in duration, you will work in a role directly suited to your major while earning a competitive salary. Lakehead’s co-operative education program has partnered with over 140 national and international employers including: Amazon, Bombardier Transportation, Bank of Canada, Facebook, IBM, Hydro One, Canadian Securities Intelligence Service, Blackberry, Boeing, WestJet and many more.
