Summer has arrived & is here to stay (we hope!). You’re probably looking forward at the next months trying to figure out how to pass the time; maybe you have a summer job, maybe you have school this summer, and maybe you even have that movie marathon that you’ve been wanting to have for the last year. Whatever it is that you have planned this summer (or don’t, that’s okay too!) we wanted to make up a short list of things to keep in mind:

  1. 1) Recharge those batteries! Okay, not actual batteries, but make sure you spend time to relax. Whether that’s a walk in the park, spending time with your loved ones, a hike up a mountain, a shopping spree, we encourage you to take a well-deserved break before your semester starts!
  2. 2) Don’t forget about timelines & deadlines! You know how we said “the next months?” It turns out those three months tend to fly by quickly. Stay up to date with important semester dates by clicking HERE.
  3. 3) Go out & explore! The city of Prince George has tons of amazing events offered all summer long. From the weekly Farmers Markets, the Classic Car Show, Yoga in the park every Sunday morning, the Pride Parade, or Downtown SummerFest, Prince George will continue to surprise you. If you’re looking to try something new, we recommend you visit here for a list of events happening in Prince George.
  4. 4) Get back in the classroom! Take the summer break to get back into the classroom and keep learning. If you’re interested in summer courses, you can peruse our course descriptions to see what will be offered in your semester of interest!
