Simple steps for a foolproof application process

Save

Applying to universities can get confusing and overwhelming. But have no fear, here at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) we’re here to help you navigate the admissions process, including applying for scholarships, budgeting, and paying for tuition and fees.

The following are for Canadian high school, international high school, and transfer students. Graduate programs, Faculty of Law and incoming exchange students have a different application process.

Choose a program

To start, you’ll need to figure out what program you want to apply to. We’ve put together a fun and quick quiz that can give you an idea of what programs might be a good fit for you. You can find the quiz here.

Check the admission requirements

Once you choose what program interests you, we suggest having a look at our admission requirements tool. It will give you a list of required courses and grades for each program based on your province.

Prepare your application

The application deadline for most undergraduate programs is March 31.

Education, Kinesiology and Nursing may require supplementary information. Applying to Renaissance College also requires additional documents.

Apply online!

You can start your online application here. And don't forget to pick a second-choice program. It DOES NOT affect your chances of being admitted to your first-choice program.

Apply for scholarships

Last but not least, submit one application each year and you’ll be considered for the majority of our undergraduate scholarships. Our scholarships range from $500 to $100K and we award millions of dollars to students every year!

You'll be notified about admission decisions by mail. In the meantime, be sure to book your personalized campus tour and see if you can visualize yourself being a student at UNB. If you have any other questions, please email us at chooseunb@unb.ca. Good luck and we hope to see you Fall 2018!
