Check admission requirements You might think you're a long way away from starting university, but it's good to know when important dates and deadlines are. Review the university calendar and give yourself plenty of time for your application to be reviewed.

Apply for scholarships and awards Did you know that many scholarships, bursaries, and awards go unclaimed each year because students don't apply? KPU offers $2 million annually in various awards. Plus, if you're applying to the university for the first time, you may be eligible for an entrance scholarship worth $20,000.

See for yourself If you live close by, plan to visit the campus. KPU offers campus tours where you can see the university up close and get a feel for what it's like to be a student. Many universities also host events throughout the year, like open houses or orientations, which are open to prospective students. This is a great way to connect with others and discover what resources are available to you as a student.
