It’s hard when your original plan doesn’t work out, but it’s never too late to move to Plan B and sometimes, having to do just that can even be a blessing in disguise.

Here’s some things to consider when creating your Plan B, so it feels like your Plan A:

1. Know Your Strengths
Sometimes your strengths aren’t always what you think they are – owning who you are and leveraging your natural talents to find your passion is a great way to ensure success. Ask your friends and family what they think you excel at, then look for programs and careers that incorporate those strengths.

Want to build on your skills? Our preparatory programs can help you develop new strengths or improve on skills you already have.

2. Research the Opportunities
There are endless opportunities available to people from all walks of life. Whether you’re a student who didn’t get into your first program choice, or one who decided their first choice wasn’t for them after all, a mature student who didn’t finish high school, or someone ready for a second career, there are pathways and supports in place to help you take the next steps with your education.

Need some guidance? Our Recruitment Team can help you to find the right program for you. Book an appointment today.

3. Keep an Open Mind
Widen your search for the right program or career path and be willing to try things out. Events like Open Houses, campus tours and appointments with recruiters can help you get an inside look at what to expect in a given program or when pursuing a certain career. Sometimes, you’ll even be surprised by what piques your interest.
