When deciding what to study you should consider your interests and strengths as well as the teaching and assessment methods used in the degree. It's essential that you are really interested in what you hope to study. You'll also want to match your degree to your abilities to ensure you'll succeed. The University of Edinburgh offers over 450 different degrees so your choice is huge.

All applications to the University for full-time study must be made online through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). The deadline for UK and EU applicants is 15 January 2017 and the deadline for all other international applicants is 30 June 2017. (We advise you to apply by 15 January but will accept applications until 30 June.)

We will consider all applications received by the relevant UCAS deadlines. We aim to inform you of our decision on your application as quickly as possible. Provided you have applied by the January deadline, you can expect to receive our decision by the end of March.
