Be Ahead Of The Game At Leeds Beckett

Great student city, modern campuses, cutting edge facilities!

Student life at Leeds Beckett encompasses a lot of things that help students develop their potential and explore their passion. Leeds is also a great vibrant student city with summer festivals and all year round events – there is so much you can get out of studying here!

Leeds Beckett has helped me realize that education is not all about the books but other activities do matter for personal and professional development. University provides excellent facilities from clinical suite, labs, interactive games, film and music studios to a mock court!

There are great opportunities right from a vibrant and open to all Students’ Union which seeks to represent student needs and concerns to the University. Any student can run in the Students’ Union elections every year or engage in local community volunteering projects and join different societies from international, political, events to film, DJ or even a hooping society!

There are student exchange programs - an opportunity to learn and relate with people from different cultures and land in an International job. Worth noting is the ability to share experiences with people of different continents through the international volunteering where you work with NGOs and charities in over 10 countries on conservation projects, teaching English and raising aspirations.

Leeds Beckett has retained unbeatable sporting reputation of being a consecutive 11 year Champion in the annual Leeds Varsity sporting competition. The state of the art sports facilities including gyms, swimming pool, sport clubs and fitness classes are available all throughout the year for the students.

These services and societies are a once in a lifetime opportunity hence my decision not to only concentrate on my studies but to develop my skills, have fun and raise my profile to enhance my employability after University.
