YOUTH AND COMMUNITY WORK DEGREES

Inspiring Communities

Delivered by experienced and award-winning youth workers, this youth and community work degree will prepare you for a career working with children and young people in a range of settings, helping them to enhance their personal, social and educational development. You could also qualify as a specialist in youth justice by choosing a specific pathway, which includes a bespoke Youth Justice module.

On successful completion of our youth work course, you’ll not only graduate with a degree, but with a professionally recognised qualification that is recognised UK-wide by the Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) and endorsed by Education and Training Standards Wales (ETS).

Work Placements

LOCATIONS

Experience South Wales

The places you study and live make a big difference to what you get out of university. It’s important to be somewhere that feels like home, but can also surprise you. South Wales offers rich experiences, with Cardiff at the heart.

With campuses in and around Cardiff, you can experience the diversity that south Wales has to offer – the buzz of the cities, the beauty of the coast, and the calm of the countryside.

We have five campuses across three locations, but we’re one university. Every campus is open to you and whatever inspires you, you’re always welcome.
