Description: This program is designed for people employed in, or interested in, safety in the workplace. To be eligible for the OH&S certificate, students must complete 20.0 credits of required courses, 25.0 credits of elective courses for a total of 45.0 credits.

The passing grade for all courses is 60%. Students wishing to transfer these certificate courses to the OH&S Diploma program must obtain a grade of 70% or better in each course. The passing grade for OH&S courses in the Diploma is set at 70% which matches the standard required to pass the certification examination to become a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).
