As a graduate, you will benefit from the program’s Government of Alberta Health Care Aide Certification when choosing in which health care environments to work.

Applicants must be 18 years of age OR out of high school for at least one year, have thirty-three credits towards an Alberta high school diploma, verified by transcript with 50% or better in Grade 10 English and a Grade 10 Mathematics, or non-Alberta equivalent, have a successful interview with school administration, provide proof of a successful security clearance check, successfully pass a child welfare check, provide a passing of Statement of Health from a physician, must be an Alberta resident who resides in Alberta and includes a person who moves to Alberta to take the program and be able to provide a copy of current immunization record.
