The Niagara Culinary Institute possesses an outstanding reputation with graduates, employers, and industry partners, and is situated in the heart of Niagara wine country's thriving hospitality industry. Today’s food service industry needs cooks and bakers for hotel kitchens, restaurants, cruise ships, and commercial and industrial catering organizations. As well, some graduates pursue related careers, such as food writing and food product development and sales. This program is offered at the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus with starting dates in September or January.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older as of the first day of classes, with no OSSD or equivalent (Mature Student) including the following required courses: English–Grade 12 (C), (U) or (O), or equivalent. Recommended courses: Hospitality and/or Tourism–any Grade 11 or Grade 12 course, and Information Technology Applications in Business–Grade 11 (O).
