|Description:||This 24-week program combines theory with a considerable amount of hands-on training to take a student with little or no previous experience in the plumbing trade and supply them with the necessary skills to seek employment in that industry as an apprentice plumber. The program exposes the student to aspects of residential, commercial and industrial systems in this trade with a focus on developing practical skills. The curriculum follows the Ontario Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities guidelines for the first-year in-class components of the Plumbing Apprenticeship, which includes installation procedures in compliance with the Ontario Plumbing Code.
