|Description:||The Certificate Program in Aboriginal Social Work Practice aims to prepare Aboriginals for social work practice in their own communities by providing professional training in assessment and counselling skills for a range of social problems such as addictions, family violence, child abuse and mental and physical health. Courses are planned to reflect the sociocultural characteristics of Aboriginal society as well as the specific social service needs of their communities.|
