|Description:||Seneca's School of Information and Communications Technology is a recognized leader in developing and delivering programs that address the cutting–edge advances and innovation taking place in the fast–paced Information Technology industry. Project management methodologies and techniques have evolved from the traditional waterfall methodology through incremental and iterative development to agile methodologies. What distinguishes the Project Management – IT graduate certificate is that it gives students grounding in all of these methodologies as they are currently being practiced in the IT industry and an understanding of when each is most appropriate to follow.
Co-op provides you with the opportunity to benefit from a combination of classroom learning and real-world experience. Admission to the Co-operative Education program is by application during the first academic semester. Note that a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 from semester one is required to be eligible, but does not necessarily guarantee entry into the co-operative education option. As part of the selection process the Promotion Committee will play a key role in assessing the suitability of students to participate in co-operative education.
