Description: The Public Administration - Municipal program is designed to satisfy the needs of local government for individuals with knowledge of operations and functions of municipal government including municipal policy making, committee structures and processes, and budget processes. Graduates will have completed courses leading to completion of the Association of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO) Municipal Administration Program. Students must register for the AMCTO courses at an additional cost.

The accelerated version of the regular, four semester diploma program is designed for students who can demonstrate that they have previously achieved the academic equivalents of three general education credits and EAC150. This allows the completion of the professional subjects over a period of two semesters.

This is an accelerated program for those who have completed a degree or diploma.

Substantial completion of a degree or diploma from a recognized college or university
Proficiency in English at the college level
Grade 12 Mathematics (C) or (U) or Grade 11 Mathematics (U) or (M)

Although not required for admission, a high degree of computer literacy, keyboarding skills at 40 w.p.m. and business mathematics are recommended.
