Applicants must be 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma; ELA 30-1 and BIO 30 are recommended. They must be registered EMT-A with the Alberta College of Paramedics, or equivalent, actively working in the field for at least a year prior to beginning the program. They must provide proof of up-to-date immunization, Heart and Stroke Foundation Level C CPR, criminal record check, and a valid driver's license. |
