This program thoroughly prepares you with the knowledge and practical skills required in this dynamic sector of the Beauty Industry. As a first year student you will acquire the skills employers are looking for: facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing. During your second year, you will study and practice advanced esthetics treatments including micro-dermabrasion, light therapies and various anti-aging treatments, enhancing your level of confidence and ensuring your ability to assist all clients with their personal skin care concerns.

Admission Requirements

  • Grade 12 English

Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with a majority of senior credits at the College Preparation(C), University Preparation(U) or University/College Preparation (M) level or Mature Student Status (age 19 or older). Grade 12 English at either the (C) or (U) level must have also been completed.

Applicants must also have a current medical report and report of chest x-ray or tuberculin skin test, and a valid Standard First Aid Certificate with Adult CPR (minimum 16 hours).

Test Scores:
  • TOEFL (PBT) [min. 550] or CAEL [min. 50] or TOEFL (iBT) [min. 80]

International students whose first language is not English must fulfill an English Proficiency requirement in order to qualify for application. English Proficiency requirements are as follows for consideration: A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper based) or 80 (internet based with no test below 20) - TOEFL code 9212, OR Academic IELTS with an overall minimum score of 6.0 (with no single test score below 5.5), OR CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) with an overall band score of 50
