Description: Combine a mechanical aptitude with an ability to both read and understand complex instructions. A steamfitter-pipefitter lays out, assembles, fabricates, maintains and repairs piping systems that carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. You may also remove and replace worn components, do general maintenance work and work on plant shut-downs.
