Description: The faculty program in music has been designed to accommodate those students who are either undecided about the area of music in which they wish to specialize, or who are interested in a pattern of specialization not provided in the established majors and honours programs, or who are interested in combining studies in music with studies in other disciplines. Students registered in the faculty program may, with the approval of a staff adviser, design their own programs around specific interests or develop programs with a broader base by incorporating courses from other disciplines.

Prerequisites:

A DEC in Music or equivalent. If you have a DEC in a field other than music, you must have the equivalent music prerequisites. No additional prerequisite courses are required. Audition and academic record determine admissibility. (Music does not use the Cote R).
