MySchool101.com Poll
The environment would thank you

Environment Canada says this country has a smog problem. Becoming travel smart is one of the ways Canadians can reduce the production of smog in the atmosphere. Being travel smart means using environmentally friendly transportation.

Walking, cycling and using carpools and public transit systems are all environmentally conscious ways to get around. According to Environment Canada, a full 12-metre bus holds enough people to replace about 50 cars in rush hour!

In a recent poll, we asked you which mode of transportation you used most often, and the results were close. Busses and trains got the most votes, with 153, only 0.2% over the drivers, who made up 152 of the votes. Bikers and walkers are keeping us all in clean air, with 10% and 21% of votes respectively.
