Seneca College invites students and their families to take advantage of orientation days, and get a head start on the college career they are looking forward to. This is one of many activities provided for incoming students at Seneca to help ease the transition to college life.
Since first impressions are so important, Mount Allison wants to be sure students know what a great time they will have there right from the first week. Orientation at Mount Allison is run by senior students who have gone through a first year of university themselves, and can show new students how this great school can make them feel right at home. 
Bond Week orientation at Bond University in Australia is an important part of the transition to university life for students, and all are encouraged to take advantage of it. From barbecues to trivia night, Mexican night to lawn bowling, Bond students will have a great time while meeting staff and making new friends.
The University of Guelph is a leader in Canada in helping new students successfully transition to university life and study. It all starts the summer before you attend, and continues through your first week as you familiarize yourself with the campus. Once you're settled in, there's always help and support available when you need it.
