Distance learning at the University of Regina

University of Regina Press Release

July 13, 2004 - The Distance Learning Division of the University of Regina invites students to join a growing number of learners who enrich their lives and careers through our programs. We provide learners with the opportunity to complete university degree courses without having to attend a scheduled course on campus.

We offer face-to-face and televised courses to students at sites across Saskatchewan. We also offer online courses to those who have access to a computer, the Internet, and motivation to succeed in a non-traditional classroom. Students from all over Canada and the world have taken University of Regina courses. We have had students from Japan, Nova Scotia and the Northwest Territories.

Online courses at the University of Regina are delivered using technology that is based on the needs and objectives of the online programs. The ability to access a University of Regina course from a home computer via the Internet, 24 hours a day, seven days a week is a tremendous incentive for adults to reach academic and career goals. Our online courses are user friendly, reliable, and accessible, marked by innovation and dynamic electronic interaction with qualified instructors.
