There are many options for funding your education, make sure you know what they are.

Save

As a university student dealing with everything from classes, homework and exams, to health, relationships and extracurricular activities, you will have more than enough on your plate. The last thing you want is to have to worry about how to pay for it all.

Fortunately for you, stress and ramen aren’t your only options. With more than $12 million in scholarships and awards handed out to undergraduate students every year, the University of Calgary can help you finance your post-secondary education.

We provide high school students with nearly $2 million in merit-based scholarships annually, and offer numerous bursaries, which are granted based on financial need. With awards also available for transfer and international students, there are awards applicable to everyone. Use the filter on our online search tool to see which scholarships you may be eligible for.

If you are perhaps moving away from home or you will need help with living expenses, apply for a government student loan, however; make sure you submit your application as soon as possible. This will help ensure your application is process before the start of classes.

Having trouble figuring out how much money you will need for school? Use our online cost calculator tool, which will help you determine the approximate fees based on your program, while taking into consideration the cost of residence and/or meal plans if you are considering living on campus.

If you are interested in working while you attend school make sure you visit Career Services, where they will help you spruce up your resume and search for jobs both on or off campus.
