Choosing the right university can be overwhelming, but nonetheless, it is an important step in making the decision of which university to attend. The university that you choose will soon be your home, so it’s important to make sure that you have found a university that fits you!

One of the best ways to do this is to visit the campuses of the institutions where you would like to study. At the University of Northern British Columbia, we can help you with the decision-making process – we have several events aimed for prospective students. Check them out, below!

Fall Annual Open House
Come visit us in our fall Annual Open House! This year’s carnival theme includes tasty treats, games, and prizes – it’s sure to be a fun and informative session! Learn about UNBC’s programs and activities, and explore the research and teaching being undertaken by UNBC.

UNBC Talks
Want to see what our programs are like? Join us for UNBC Talks. Aimed for prospective students, you’ll be able to attend a variety of fascinating lectures, tour our campus, and experience our new Dining Hall. On November 28th, UNBC Talks will be a double header of both “Brains and Games.” Students attending the session will also be able to attend the Men’s and Women’s Timberwolves basketball games!

Student for a Day
How about joining us for our Student for a Day Program? Our Student for a Day program encourages prospective students to visit UNBC, and experience life as a student. You’ll be able to go on a campus tour with a UNBC student, visit with a Student Recruitment Officer, and experience our new Dining Hall (it’s all you care to eat)! And what’s even better – we’ll help you plan your trip, and cover your costs for travel and accommodations. The reimbursements are as follows:

• Inside British Columbia: Maximum reimbursement of $500.00
• Outside of British Columbia: Maximum reimbursement of $1,000.
