Find Your Way with Plan B

For some, reading “Unfortunately…” at the top of a letter from the school of your dreams can be discouraging. But for you, “unfortunately” can be the new beginning of a different direction. When Plan A doesn’t work – Plan B can still get you to where you need to go.

Here’s how Humber can help:

1. Upgrade: Humber’s General Arts and Science (GAS) can give you the grades and skills upgrades you need to get into the program of your choice, as well as a diploma. Our GAS programs can prepare you to get into health sciences, technical and humanities programs at Humber or other post secondary institutions, such as the University of Toronto and Bishop’s University.

2. Get back to basics: Start with any of our foundation programs can get you one step in the door. For example, our two-semester Media or Design foundation programs can teach you the basics you need to take the next step into another program. Many of our programs allow you to develop a portfolio of professional work that can take you into further schooling or a career.

3. Ask someone: Speak with one of our many professional career counselors who can advise you on next steps. Our career counselors offers skills identification, assessments, career explorations and the development of short and long term career goals. Let one of them help you today.
