What do Creative Advertising, Accounting, Nursing and Criminal Justice have in common?

They’re four of the 22 career-focused degrees offered at Humber College.

It can be hard to decide what program to enroll in after high school. After all, a degree has historically been a good pathway to a job – but in reality, many traditional degree programs don’t prepare you for the working world once you graduate.

That’s why Humber is different. We want you to get a degree, and we want you to get a job.

We do this by making sure that you get work experience even before you graduate. All degree programs at Humber offer either work placements or clinical experience, many of which are paid – meaning you get to earn money and get valuable on-the-job experience while you’re still in school.

And the career boost a Humber degree gives you isn’t just limited to your work placements. In-class seminars on portfolio preparation and resume writing, extensive industry partnerships and networking events allow you to make connections and build relationships that you can take with you once school is over.

Our degrees are taught by faculty who not only have great academic credentials, but also extensive industry experience – and they bring their connections and insight into every class they teach. You get a great education, and you also get career help that lasts even when school is finished. Plus, Humber degrees all incorporate hands-on projects into their curriculum, blending theoretical learning with relevant practical experience – exactly what employers are looking for.

Don’t think that you have to give up a career in order to get an undergraduate degree.

You just have to pick the right school.
