Learn about the historical and modern importance of theatre. All theatre classes involve hands-on, experiential learning, so you’ll have many opportunities for internships and project work in the community. Admission

Apply to the Faculty of Fine Arts as a high school student or a transfer student from another post-secondary institution.

This is a direct-entry program. Select it as your major when you submit your application to UVic.

Scholarships

English language proficiency

You must demonstrate English language proficiency to attend UVic. Your transcripts are enough to prove proficiency if you've studied full-time in an academic program at the high school or post-secondary level within Canada for at least four years, and all of your instruction was in English.
