First Nations Human Resource Management Program

Program Description

This program is aimed at preparing students to efficiently manage all aspects of the major Human Resource Management (HRM) functions in First Nations communities and organizations. The program is designed to be flexible and modular, covering various topics such as job analysis, recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance with labor legislation.

The program is structured to accommodate learners who are currently employed, and it offers two options for completion: a one-year certificate or a two-year diploma.

Admission Requirements

You are invited to apply if you have:

  • Senior 4 or equivalent education standing, or

  • Achieved a combination of education and experience as a mature student
