Sports

There are many ways to get involved in sports events – you can join one of our teams and represent Middlesex University through competitions and activities or sign up to our Give it a Go sessions.

Some of our sports teams – like our karate, tennis and volleyball teams – have achieved success at regional and national competitions, with a number of our students having represented Great Britain in international competitions, such as the World Student Games and even the Olympics.

All students are welcome to come along and try out for a team, with trials taking place in the first two weeks of term. Even if you're not selected for a team, you can still take part by starting your own team through the Give it a Go programme.

Clubs

Middlesex University Students' Union (MDXSU) organises exciting activities, initiatives and parties for students throughout the year, and provides support and advice on a range of academic issues. The Union also helps manage a range of university clubs and societies, encouraging the pursuit of new interests and goals, and establishing a vibrant social life on campus.

All of Middlesex's campuses are modern learning environments that provide students with access to the latest facilities. At our Hendon flagship campus in North London, Middlesex have recently completed an investment programme in excess of £180 million, this includes the world class Art, Design and Media Centre 'The Grove', the modern learning resource centre Sheppard Library and the cutting-edge Hatchcroft Science building.
