Student-For-A-Day
High school students can see what it's like to be a university student! Many programs offer student for a day activities, ranging from lectures and labs to master classes. We offer student for a day opportunities in the fall and winter each year. Visit our website here for details.

New Student Orientation
At MacEwan's New Student Orientation—held in the fall and the winter each year—you learn about the practical, the academic and the social sides of campus life. You also begin to build a network of familiar faces—and we all know how important that can be when you're starting something new. At the orientation, a crew of friendly MacEwan staff and students will answer your questions and help you get ready for those exciting first days on campus. Find out more here.

Career Planning

Career Services provides career education and employment services to help MacEwan University students and graduates make a meaningful connection between their education and the world of work. Services include workshops in resumé writing, and job search and interview preparation. Job opportunities are available online.

Sports

MacEwan Sport and Wellness, located in the Christenson Family Centre for Sport and Wellness at City Centre Campus, hosts a newly expanded 7,000 square foot fitness area, a 25-metre pool, a 40-person hot tub, a beautiful three-court gymnasium, steam rooms and squash courts. Our City Centre Campus gym is 18,000 square feet, which can house two full-sized basketball courts, three full-sized volleyball courts or six badminton courts. Demonstrating a proud tradition of excellence in basketball, cross-country running, curling, golf, hockey, soccer and volleyball, the MacEwan University Griffins athletic teams continually compete near the top of the province and nation. Visit www.MacEwan.ca/Griffins.

Clubs

Special Services

Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) offers a range of services to foster the full and self-directed participation of students with disabilities in courses and other academic activities. Support services include, but are not limited to, interpreting, note taking, alternate format material preparation (audio taped, enlarged, Braille), exam accommodations, and assisted computer technology assessments and training. International Involvement

International Education Centre: MacEwan University provides many forms of support such as academic advising, cultural and social support and emotional support for our international students.
