At Briercrest College and Seminary, you’ll discover a community of learning that calls students to seek the kingdom of God, to be shaped profoundly by the scriptures, and to be formed spiritually and intellectually for lives of service. Founded in 1935, Briercrest College offers a diversity of certificates, Associate of Arts, and Bachelor of Arts degrees that equip students to influence the world in mission, ministry, and marketplace roles. Each degree includes a rich blend of courses in Bible and theology, Christian ministry, and arts and social science. We provide students with academically challenging programs and a community focused on becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. The College is associated with the universities of Regina and Saskatchewan, and has significant transfer agreements with these and several other Canadian colleges and universities.

Briercrest Bible College operates a number of different residences for single students. Each room (unless stated differently) has space for two students and is equipped with twin beds, desks, chairs, closets, wall to wall carpet, and phone hook ups. Most residences (unless stated differently) have a common lounge, kitchenette, and laundry room. All residences are conveniently located within a five minute walk of the Administration Building, Hildebrand Chapel, classrooms, and other services in the campus core area. Married and mature dorms are also available. Individual Students: Sundbo Apartments provides comfortable rooms for our students. Rooms in this student residence provide plenty of space and comfort allowing for adequate study space during your stay at Briercrest. Additional student residences are available as the need arises. For those students who do not wish to relocate, Caronport is home to the Pilgrim Inn and Pilgrim Restaurant, both of which offer special pricing for seminary students. Off Campus Housing

The residence life dynamic is an integral part of the mandate, distinctive philosophy, and experience of Briercrest Bible College. As a result, only senior upperclassmen in good standing or students with special circumstances will be given the option of living in alternate housing in accordance with the guidelines laid out in the alternate housing policy. There are two different types of accommodation for commuter students. The first option is a bed and breakfast at approximately $100.00 per week. The other option is to stay at the Pilgrim Inn at a cost of $40.00 plus tax per night. Your Pilgrim Inn stay includes your coffee every day in a quite and comfortable setting, great for connecting with other seminary students at the Inn. Incoming Students

Experience Briercrest College and Seminary is a campus visit event designed to provide you with an opportunity to experience life as a Briercrest student. Maybe you're not sure yet whether Briercrest is the right school for you—this is the perfect opportunity to find out! The event registration fee of $225 covers the cost of accommodations, meals, transportation (around campus, to and from Moose Jaw, and an airport shuttle if you’re flying into the Regina Airport), group activities and Youth Quake registration.

Career Planning

The Career Centre guides students and alumni through the process of clarifying their desired career and ministry roles, and gaining placement in an appropriate position. The Career Centre operates a free listing service for employers and free resume posting for students and alumni.

Sports

Briercrest offers varsity athletics in basketball (men and women), volleyball (men and women), and hockey. Teams compete in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC), one of the premier college leagues in Canada. Soccer (men and women) is offered as a club sport. We offer intramurals in many popular sports including hockey, basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, flag football, lacrosse and badminton Caronport residents who are interested in sports (hockey, volleyball, basketball, track and field, etc.) can be involved in these activities while family members are studying. Midget AA and Junior B hockey, and intramural hockey can be played at a much lower cost at Caronport. During the summer, the College Sports Ministries Department offers a variety of athletic camps such as the clipper volleyball, basketball, and hockey camps.

Activities

Several student activities are planned throughout the year. They range from light-hearted games to spiritual workouts, but in all of them, we seek to honour God. Brierstock is a year-end bash where students pack into the student centre for several hours to hear their favourite Briercrest bands. SERVE is an annual ministry equipping and personal enrichment conference, drawing in well-known speakers and our own faculty and staff. Camp Days have representatives from camps across North America set up displays and discuss ministry opportunities with students. Freshmen Games welcome our freshmen to campus each year with this contest of wild and wacky stunts. Youth Quake is one of the largest youth retreats in Canada. YQ attracts leading bands, great speakers, and all kinds of exciting guests. World Awareness Days include mission representatives on hand to converse with students, this event reminds them of the global mission of the church. Christmas Musical has over 10,000 people visit on the Briercrest campus over three days each December to take in this musical and visual spectacle celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Information Technology

Briercrest has several e-mail and Internet terminals on campus for the convenience of our students. The school also offers a computer lab allowing students free access to surf the Internet or work on their studies.
