Throughout the year, WolfPack Recreation organizes and implements a variety of special events, intramural sports, and fitness classes for the university community. Many activities are free, while others require a minimal fee. It is our mission to strengthen the bonds that make us a tight-knit university community, so grab your friends, roommates, instructors — even the random person sitting next to you in class — and get in the game!

The Activity Guide is published three times per year and offers a wide range of programs, including swimming lessons; exercise and dance classes; cooking, language, and arts courses; outdoor activities; and more.
TRUSU Clubs are a great way to get involved in your campus and community, as well as make some new friends. Whether it’s supporting each other academically, sharing a common interest, making a difference, or hosting an event, clubs are a vibrant part of the university experience. There are over 80 TRUSU Clubs active on campus, from kayaking and snowboarding to French and social work! There really is a club for everyone!

The Equity Committee also recognizes the inequities that Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, or Queer (LGBTQ) students face in society and hosts a Pride Parade every September to address these equity issues.
Graduate students have access to the Graduate commons — your study and workspace away from home. Here you will find quiet areas, areas for informal gatherings, long tables, whiteboards and a kitchen with complementary coffee and tea. Access to the commons is 24/7 and by way of a secure entry.
TRU is a leading destination in Canada for international students. International enrolment now exceeds 3,500 students from 100+ nations worldwide. New international students and applicants at TRU receive prompt application and registration assistance from our dedicated International Admissions team.
Our student recruiter-advisors are excited to be able to welcome people back to our campus and are eager to show you an insider’s view of TRU. We begin the tour with introductions and a chance to learn more about the key interests of those in the group. During the tour, you will hear about some of our amazing amenities on campus. As you walk around, you'll learn about our history, programs, services and more.
Tours take about one hour and include stops at some of our buildings such as: The Arts and Education Building, Campus Activity Centre, House of Learning, our new Nursing and Population Health Building, Ken Lepin Building, Gymnasium, Culinary Arts Training Centre and Trades and Technology Building. Tours are booked by request Monday to Friday, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
