Career Planning

Not sure about your next career move? Our career assessment tool, Career Match, will help find the best fit for your personality type. Georgian has more than 125 career-focused diploma, degree and certificate programs to choose from. When you’ve completed our short questionnaire, you’ll receive a personality profile report, along with a list of Georgian programs you may be well suited to. This tool is only a start. Your interests and values are also important factors in successful career planning, but this is a great way to begin your career exploration.

Sports

Intramural: Baseball, Basketball (three on three), and Volleyball are all co-ed. Hockey is either three on three or five on five. For more information, please visit https://georgiangrizzlies.ca/landing/index.

Activities

Georgian College has a large fitness centre with cardio equipment and free weights, an indoor climbing wall, women and men's whirlpools and steam rooms, an indoor running/jogging track, personal training, and fitness/group fitness classes.

Clubs

Clubs include the International Students Association, the Drama Club, the Lesser Known Gems Film Club, Amnesty International, and the Grizzly Steps Dance Workshop. Any Georgian student and employee may start a club.

Information Technology

Residences have network Internet access. Georgian College owns and operated the Bits & Bytes Computer Store, which sells software, computers, printers, and accessories, with all profits being reinvested into the College.

Cultural

The Georgian Eye is the campus newspaper, published monthly and distributed across campus. Student submissions are welcome.

Special Services

All Georgian College students with disabilities are eligible for accommodations and support services. Once accepted to Georgian, we recommend that students meet with an accessibility advisor to learn about available accommodations and services (see section 2.16 of Admission policies).
