Conestoga delivers more than 300 career-focused programs, and has more degree offerings than any other college outside of the GTA, including Ontario’s only college-based, accredited engineering degrees. As the region’s only provider of polytechnic education, Conestoga plays an integral role in the success of our community: 65 per cent of our graduates remain in the area after completing their education, contributing more than $2.3 billion each year to the local economy.

On Campus Housing

Student residence is located next to the Doon Campus in Kitchener. It is a 528-bed facility with a combination of fully furnished two-bedroom apartment-style rooms and shared open-concept rooms. All rooms have their own shared kitchenette and washroom. The residence is a secure building with controlled-access entry and 24-hour on-site staff.

Incoming Students

Conestoga College recognizes each student's potential to develop, both personally and professionally, while at college. Conestoga provides meaningful opportunities to get involved on and off campus. Starting with orientation and transition programming, an event filled with meeting new friends and faculty, and valuable workshops offering information on how to be successful at the College.

Career Planning

Conestoga College's career advising team can help prepare for successful employment during and after college. Students at any campus have access to appointments with a career advisor, who can provide one-on-one assistance with résumés, cover letters, job search, interview skills and can help build connections with employers.

Sports

Conestoga's state of the art, Recreation Centre has two gymnasiums, a 8,500 square foot fitness centre, a 4-lane indoor running track, squash courts, baseball diamonds, a soccer field and multipurpose rooms for fitness classes.

Activities

Conestoga Students Inc. provides events and activities for students to relax and have fun. Events and activities are held throughout the year that caters to the diverse student population. From concerts, trivia contests, and other pop culture events, there is no shortage of events taking place virtually or on-campus.

Clubs

Clubs at Conestoga are a great way for students to meet new people, make friends, and foster a sense of community and belonging.

Cultural

Students at Conestoga's Doon campus have access to the Spiritual Room, which is a non-denominational, gender-neutral place that serves as a quiet sanctuary for prayer, meditation or silent, peaceful reflection. CJIQ 88.3 FM The Condor, our radio station, features a line-up of different music genres. They include rock, club, R&B, jazz, classical, Christian and ethnic music.

Special Services

Conestoga provides support for students with permanent and temporary disabilities. Staff work with students to understand the impact of their disability in the college environment and develop a success plan that considers the student’s goals and the academic and testing accommodations available to support the student’s full participation in Conestoga life.

International Involvement

Conestoga has a variety of international opportunities for our students. One example is the exclusive agreement with the Institut Paul Bocuse Worldwide Alliance, the leading global network of education excellence for the culinary arts and hospitality trades. Conestoga’s membership in the Alliance provides opportunities for Conestoga's culinary students to participate in an exclusive 14-week training program at the Institut Paul Bocuse in France
