We offer a number of certificate and diploma programs. Students may take courses in English as a second language, business, information technology, or receive other vocational training. Due to our articulation agreements with institutions such as Cape Breton University in Nova Scotia, students have the opportunity to complete their studies at a university level.

CIST helps new students to arrange their accommodation in homestay. Students should expect to pay approximately $750.00 per month for homestay accommodation that includes meals.

The Orientation Program for new international students includes a tour of the campus and provides students with information about the services available at CIST. It is an important introduction to the College and is intended to make new students feel at home in their surroundings.

CIST offers students many events and activities, such as trips to amusement parks and table tennis tournaments. These activities help students to meet new friends and make the most of their CIST experience.

CIST provides students with free Internet and e-mail access through any computer at the College.

Through our articulated agreements, we are affiliated with institutions, such as Cape Breton University, Nova Scotia and Cambridge International College of Canada, Toronto.
