DescriptionThis program allows you to complete the first year of your engineering degree here at the University of Lethbridge. Upon successful completion of your courses, you will then transfer to the University of Alberta (U of A) or the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) for your subsequent years. Take advantage of our excellent teaching environment and start at the University of Lethbridge, knowing that you will be well prepared for going on to the U of A or the U of S. We have carefully designed a package of courses for each university to make sure you are ready for your move and get the best start that we can offer for your engineering program. Students will take some of their courses with our U of A engineering students, while others will be specific to the U of S program. Students must take the appropriate program for the institution to which they intend to transfer.

While this program has been designed to transfer seamlessly to the U of A or the U of S, it is not exclusive to these two universities and could be used to transfer to other engineering programs. Students should seek advice from the school to which they intend to transfer if this is their intent. Students pursuing a future in engineering have a number of opportunities available to them while at uLethbridge including co-operative education, international exchanges, independent and applied studies as well as volunteer opportunities. uLethbridge is the only university in Alberta to offer co-operative education to all majors in the arts & sciences, at both the undergrad and grad level. To learn more about this exciting opportunity, visit the Co-operative Education webpage.
