DescriptionThe pioneering M Law course is specifically designed for aspiring legal practitioners and those wishing to enter professional roles. As an Integrated Master’s it meets the requirements of a Qualifying Law Degree, and incorporates the knowledge and professional skills needed to succeed as a solicitor (M Law Exempting) or barrister (M Law Exempting (Bar Professional Training Course)).

In Years 1 and 2, all students follow the same programme, before joining either the M Law Exempting or the M Law Exempting (BPTC) for both Years 3 and 4. The M Law Exempting course brings the study of law to life through its practical focus. In our award winning Student Law Office you will experience real legal practice and work with qualified legal professionals. Using realistic case studies and examples throughout the programme to increase your understanding of the law in context, you will develop advanced practical skills and abilities to excel in your career. You will simultaneously develop specialist legal knowledge and gain a critical understanding of how to apply this knowledge in different settings and for specific audiences.
