DescriptionAudiology is the branch of science that studies hearing, balance and the pathological conditions that can affect them. Students will learn how to assess hearing capacity and balance function while the clinical side of the course will provide the practical skills needed for employment in the profession.

As part of the course students will undertake a rigorous educational programme, involving both theoretical and clinical learning, and attend 64 weeks of placement at hospitals across Wales. There are also multiple opportunities to use the College of Human and Health Sciences’ state-of-the-art facilities which offer realistic workplace experiences. Learning resources include a clinical and technical skills centre and simulated clinical practice facilities.
