DescriptionStudents of BMid (Hons) Midwifery at Swansea University graduate as highly skilled professionals with the clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure a woman’s physical and emotional well-being during pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood. The programme is designed to build upon student midwives’ strengths so they become professional and motivated practitioners.

Student midwives will develop a heightened level of self-awareness and sensitivity towards women and families throughout the programme. The Midwifery and Reproductive Health team offers a broad range of experience and subject interest. In partnership with other disciplines our well established research culture supports evidence based practice.
