DescriptionValidated and endorsed by the National Youth Agency, this course enables you to graduate as a professionally qualified youth worker. With a strong focus on practical experience, learning is split between the classroom and practical experience. Placements include working as a youth practitioner in youth clubs, with detached projects, schools, further education, NCS, activity centres and faith settings.

To help you find the right placement, you'll benefit from our placement matching event. This brings together a range of youth-focused organisations, enabling you to discover professional practice options in the sector. If you already have a suitable work placement, you'll have the flexibility to study one day a week, allowing you to earn while you learn.
