DescriptionDevelop the skills and training you need to become an independent researcher. Working as part of a close-knit community of historians, you will develop critical skills in analysing history while gaining hands-on experience with historical documentation from local archives.


You’ll learn from experts with a broad range of specialisms including American, British, European and Russian history. Using a range of approaches to history, you’ll analyse historical activity through the lenses of local studies, gender, race, culture, politics and the experience of everyday life, crime and conflict in the past.
