This flexible degree combines work placements and theory to meet a range of circumstances. If you're already working and looking for career progression, lectures fit around your current employment. If you're just starting out, we'll find you a voluntary placement and you'll be prepped before you start with a module on professional practice.
The work placement employer will provide you with a mentor in the workplace, who will often have been trained by the university, to help you make progress in the areas that benefit your learning. You'll be taught by tutors who are all professionally-qualified in a range of areas including social care, social work, healthcare, district learning and youth work, giving you diverse experience to draw from.
