ENG4U/EAE4U is the preferred English. The minimum grade(s) required in the subject prerequisites (normally in the 65-70% range) will be determined subject to competition. Completion of all three science courses is recommended. Chemistry (SCH4U) is strongly recommended.

Applicants educated outside of Ontario must submit evidence of education equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six Grade 12 U or M courses.

DescriptionChemists create new and useful materials and products, protect the environment and fight disease. You’ll understand matter and energy and their interactions with each other, and combine research and application to expand current practices and improve quality of life. Highlights of this program include access to fully equipped labs, an optional independent laboratory research project and a paid co-op option. You’ll also have the chance to further customize your degree with a specialization in Applied Physics or an optional designation in Management Science.
