Description | This major is the first undergraduate program of its kind in Canada. Students are provided with a strong background in mathematics and statistics, and an understanding of how these disciplines apply to practice in quantitative finance through the use of engineering tools, such as optimization. Students will learn about financial theory that governs the dynamics of financial instruments and markets, which impact our global community.
