Prerequisites NotesBusiness majors may take advantage of Redeemer’s excellent Co-operative Education Program with two eight-month work terms. Students may apply for Co-op in the fall term of Year 2 (GPA of 7.00 required). Also, Business is the only major that does not require a second area of concentration. There is a minimum grade requirement for participation in the Co-op program, which is a B- (approximately 70%) average in your Business courses. Co-op students are required to maintain a 70% average in all of their courses at Redeemer as well.

Scholarships
DescriptionYour studies in accounting will include recording financial transactions; preparing financial statements; measuring the costs of products, services and activities; determining whether a business should undertake investments in product improvements, equipment and facilities; analyzing the performance of a business against its goals; and projecting the financial impact of contemplated business decisions. Courses taken at Redeemer are recognized towards the requirements for the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
