DescriptionAll the world’s a stage, whether face to face or on Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Performance is our way of being. How will you use it to change the world? Explore theatre and performance in one of Canada’s most creative drama programs. Work with award-winning professors and visiting artists to develop new plays, discover fresh approaches to classics, and examine the performance of everyday life. We learn about theatre and performance by making them.

Courses in performance, technical production, design, direction, and management give you the tools to speak your mind. Courses in politics, race, gender, theory, technology, and aesthetics help you decide what messages matter. Meet your audiences in our newly-renovated thrust-stage and black box theatres. Our students develop rich portfolios while graduates use their creative, analytical, and management skills in professional theatres across Canada, and in a wide range of careers from law to information technology.
