DescriptionSituated on the Oak Ridges Moraine, Seneca College, King Campus is part of a provincially significant wetland complex and is a valued source of headwaters to the Humber River watershed (part of the Canadian Heritage Rivers System). Outdoor training and educational sessions on the 283 hectares (700 acres) of our beautiful natural campus environment provide you with a wide variety of skills development and knowledge. This practical experience, combined with the optional co-op education work term, prepares you with the broad range of skills required by employers in both private and public organizations.

The Environmental Landscape Management program curriculum is unique in that it offers a link between the study of ecology with the more traditional type of landscaping and horticulture programs. Students meeting all academic requirements may have the opportunity to complete an optional co-op work term(s) in a formal work environment. In most cases the work term(s) is a full-time paid position completed between two academic semesters. In programs with limited co-op opportunities, additional academic requirements and a passing grade on a communication assessment may be required for eligibility. Eligibility for participation does not guarantee a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the optional co-op stream regardless of success in securing a work position.
